Endless rosary of tiny bubbles, within a light golden straw color. Nice compromise on the nose between aromas of freshly made brioche and bread dough, and green apple, and citric acidity. The tangyness in this champagne es fenomenal. Great body to it, very harmonious and interesting composition. Great value for the price. Its acidity is really seductive and gracious. This beautiful 2005 cab was an anniversary gift from a great friend of mine @Jeff Savigny The vintage is the year we got married. The nose is so complex and yet so subdued, it practically blew my mind. A nose full of roses, tobacco, dark fruit and licorice with a hint of molasses and vanilla. On the palate very dry, with a faint aged acidity, yet very rich and delicious. You can spend just as much time smelling this as drinking it. This was a near perfect wine and a great anniversary present! — 10 years ago

1960 was for kind of forgotten close to the nice 1959 and 1961 vintages - but the wine still handle well, with a light profile, a nice experience from a nice gift, maybe 60 was better for the Beatles !? However it feels kind of younger than 1960 at first sight, an off vintage in good shape but will get soon enough to its peak 😐 — 11 years ago
