2012 vintage. I really love Furst. And this wine doesn't disappoint. Oozes minerality. Peppery, spice and sweet red fruits. Smoke and wet earth notes. On the palate there is high acidity, good concentration of ripe raspberry and red plum, medium plus body and medium alcohol. Medium tannins - some subtle grip. The finish is reasonably long. One criticism is that the fruit is sweet rather than savoury. — 10 years ago
