Outstanding mature Clare Valley riesling; Bin 7; razor sharp softened acidity of limes, lime-flavoured fruit; emerald-green colour just fab; 12.5%; AUD 110 (UK source); Hardys pointed out the screw cap which preserved it so well; then discontinued when Constellation lost its way; 2005 to 2008 not made; now re-made by Accolade; 2013 sells for less than the 2004; first made 1967. — 10 years ago

'09, the last year we had amazing grapes up here in the Emerald Triangle and this one proves it. Purchased in 2013 I had forgotten I had it. WOW!! Best I've ever had. Gio is simply amazing and continues to show he is, year after year. When back, and there it was! Couldn't believe the still had some...last bottle. Decisions, decisions. Gio is still outdoing himself. Amazing Olive Oil here too! A must if ever near "Dry Creek Valley" — 10 years ago
