Very light chard. Great with the foie gras avocado toast. Kept getting better as the temperature changed in the glass. — 8 years ago

Yummy stainless Steele chard! — 10 years ago
Great Chard - every time I have a Ceritas, I wonder why I don't drink them more often. Good acidity, with a whisper of pear and lime. — 11 years ago
California underground. Hard to find. Guy who makes red hook. The scholium project. Abe Schoener. — 12 years ago
Really good Chard - needs about 30 minutes to decant — 7 years ago
The 2015, the other half of the night's comparison. Less subtle, more floral. Jasmine, rose petal, honey. All powerful, but all a bit separate and distinct. I think this could lie down for a good while. Will be pleased to try another bottle in a few years. — 8 years ago
solid California chard. Not too over the top, with the right amount of richness and acidity. I'm down. — 10 years ago
Great silky chard. — 11 years ago

2010. Night and day difference from 2006. — 12 years ago
A favorite bottle to commemorate some new ink. Always love LF, as this is a chard that definitely grows and progresses as it opens up and warms up in the glass. Beautiful notes of iris, candied pineapple, melon, toasted walnuts, and saline minerality on the nose. Gorgeous texture and purity of fruit.. bruised apple, Meyer lemon, papaya, and chalky minerals. Bright zingy acidity on the backend, but not as lean as something like Ceritas or Failla - a bit more baby fat and textural complexity on this bottle that keeps you coming back for more. A perfect hybrid of styles by Jeff Nelson and co. Paired with a creamy bow tie pasta with dried tomatoes and a spring salad. — 7 years ago
Both really bright and really deep. Black currant, black raspberry followed by a hit of red currant and red raspberry. About an hour of decant until it was really hitting its stride. — 8 years ago
Great Chardonnay. Well balanced with Medium acidity. Buttery and oaky. Classic California chard — 9 years ago
2009 - Wow.... Just when Cali wines were starting to bore me, this came along with a crazy long finish. Can't imagine a better chard than this. Full bodied and well integrated oak with a little vanilla. Great honeysuckle and fruit. The acidity is at a perfect place; creates structure, but isn't searing. Wonderful. Ready to drink now, but no rush. — 10 years ago
Scholium project 2012 intern harvest party, wine 8. Really good! Much in common with the amazing Ganevat. — 12 years ago

Not a Cali Chard fan normally but this is delish. Might be the leftover excitement from talking winemaking with Chuck Wagner yesterday but I loved this wine. Burgundian almost... — 6 years ago
