The Bruery

Cuivre Bourbon Barrel Aged Old Ale

Annoyingly high 16.2% alcohol. Gets in the way of the otherwise pretty sumptuous dried fig, bourbon cherry, bittersweet chocolate. Oxidative, oloroso notes. — 9 years ago

Sourrento Sour Blonde Ale 2014

Very faint lemon zest nose. Massive vanilla and lemon up front. Like a lemon meringue pie with fantastic acidity. Surprisingly thick mouthfeel. This is a very unique beer and worth getting ahold of. — 9 years ago

Vitis Series Oui Oui American Wild Ale

So skeptical...color me impressed! Smelled more like spiced oak than #chardonnay, but pleasantly ripe golden apple & bright complementary acidity! #thebruery #craftbeer — 9 years ago

The Bruery

Chronology: 12 American Strong Ale

Chronology:12 is the second in a 4 part experiment with barrels and time. They brewed a beer rich and malty with undertones of brown sugar, toffee and toasted French bread and set it to age in bourbon barrels. Every six months they will take a quarter of the barrels, blend them and bottle them. — 9 years ago
