Could drink all day. Textbook lemony chalkiness. — 9 years ago
Incredible, but I must say that this needs more time!
On the nose, blueberries, blackberries, and the textbook Cos Indian spice signature.
Palette is toasty, with ripe tannins. Beautiful weight and sensuality, with pristine acidity. It's immature, and therefore needs a lot of breathing space, if you pop the cork now. A super effort, with an excellent trajectory. — 9 years ago

Tight as a drum but got better as the night wore on. Definitely didn't show the ripeness of 2006. Would have guessed 2001 if asked. But still textbook Roumier. — 10 years ago
Really textbook for cote rotie - green olive, pepper beef jerky, wild herbs, red floral, baked earth and hot stone. — 11 years ago
Epic! Right in the sweet spot! absolute textbook G.C.C. that is perfect proof the 1855 is a joke! I sincerely hope it never gains the Unesco status some privileged Bordelais estates are hoping for, if this is considered 'fifth league'. Champagne & Burgundy bravo however! Truly deserving of their hard-fought Unesco world heritage status. — 11 years ago
Tannat - possibly the only palindrome grape variety - here in all it's unctuous, aubergine glory. Dark, stormy and passionate like a textbook Latin lover, it will mark you (and your couch if you're not careful). — 11 years ago
Delicious and a great value. — 11 years ago
Textbook red burgundy. Mushrooms, barnyard, floral, and a nice cherry note. Good concentration. — 8 years ago

Textbook. Raspberry, saddle leather. A sappy quality that suggests both Cru Bojo and N. Rhône. Dark and ripe. First-rate. #mercurey #pinotnoir #cotechalonnaise — 8 years ago
Got 5 of these super cheap from Last Bottle about a year ago. I have always loved Alsace Gewurz. It’s the wine I turn to when I want something just for me and fuck everyone else. This one is textbook, with musky pear and lychee nut aromas. Off-dry with decent acids. Bit of minerality in mid palate. Great value. — 9 years ago
textbook. that is all. — 9 years ago

Northern Rhône Syrah that has all of the textbook qualities of the region. Dark Berry Fruit flavors are in the background. Earth, black pepper, salami, black olive with a hint of violet. Long and funky on the finish with some “barnyard notes.” Really well made and great if you like this style of wine. — 8 years ago
