Amazingly unique. Incredibly sweet. Perfect dessert wine. — 9 years ago
Outstanding cucumber nose, alcohol is barely perceptible. Dry with nice cucumber water flavor on the palate. Finishes long. — 9 years ago
Dead palate from overconsumption? Oh no, just me then? Wake up with a bump of this bad ass. Bursting with aromatics, light and tiny bubbles, clean and dry. Linen hanging in a warm wind. — 10 years ago
Delicious pie flavors! But beware, the acidity is extremely intense and tart. If you are used to grenache from spain or the south of france, where it actually shows ripeness, this isn't for you. — 10 years ago
cool and refreshing with subtle hint of cool bay wind value wine — 10 years ago
My favorite "go to wine " for sipping well I wind down for bed. — 11 years ago

Wonderful combination of light, fruity flavor and crisp mouthfeel. Terrific wine for summer, or any time in South Texas. — 9 years ago
It's a pretty good bet that if it's Sunday and if it's about that time (you know what time it is!) I am cooking something and popping something decent. I find cooking to be therapeutic - a nice way to wind down the weekend. I had a little sous chef giving me a hand yesterday, which was A. super cute B. good for his confidence and C. actually really helpful!! This Rivers-Marie was a treat. TRB, you are the bomb, seriously - and I'm not just saying that bc you too are a South Carolinian. 2nd glass was immensely better than the first (which was also very very good), and that's not just the wine talkin.. this one will be magical.... #trb #rivers-marie #dumspirospero — 9 years ago
Tropical and minerals. Very nice sipper on a hot Texas evening. — 10 years ago
Had at Texas De brazil
Region: Chile, South America, Maipo Valley
Varietal: Bordeaux Red Blends
Style: Big & Bold
A powerful red, with a surplus of dark plum, blackberry and dark currant flavors that are pure and focused, wrapped in layers of vanilla and cream. The long finish is filled with dark chocolate and wild herb notes. Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère.

Dry, leafy, herbal aromas come with berry power and spice. Triple C stands for Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon as well as Carmenère. This is a wide load on the palate, with smooth tannins and savory, roasted berry flavors that lead to a finish boasting chocolate, leather, spice and baked berry notes. Drink through 2017.

Sleeping kids and sleeping dog.. Time to wind down the day. — 9 years ago
Good white wine for hot Texas summer. Crisp, light. Good apertif wine. — 10 years ago
Beautiful gold color, nose of fresh cut coconut and French oak. Light on the palate with a fair amount of alcohol upfront, a lot of petrol which is nice for a 12 year old muscat a petit grains. A crazy vintage that included late rain, heat, and wind. — 10 years ago
It's almost rare ( Sad) that a Producer is available In (South Texas!) It truly has ALL the components of (truly) one (I say One of the the Classic's) try this producers wines. Text Book... — 10 years ago
Lots of Apple and pear with a hint of magnolia. Great drinking Sav Blanc for hot Texas day. Look forward to my next bottle. — 11 years ago

Personally I am amazed by this wine! This is very very green style of Sauvignon blanc - tomato leaf, cucumbers, avocado, green bell pepper, asparagus, beans... all kind of green you will find in this wind. balanced, well made, clear and perfect example of this style of SB. — 8 years ago
