Light in body given the terror. Dominant red fruit particularly cherry with a strong finish. A good bang for the buck! — 9 years ago

Expected more terror but the earth-fruit balance was just right

This is exactly what the doctor ordered. Well aged, but there is no rush to drink it. Started out a little tight and lean but opened up beautifully in the glass. Has an intermixed sense if fruit and terror throughout the finish. Dark fruit more on the forefront with more scorched earth, asphalt and charcoal one the finish. Surprisingly minimal bricking . Can cellar for 7-10 more years — 10 years ago
Terror driven with plenty of oak and fruit to make this wine a powerhouse. Slate, wet pebbles, creamy vanilla, peach, and stone fruit. I love the verve to this wine. — 10 years ago
Nicely balance wine but not much sense of terror. Elegant finish. Possibly a bit young as may be over powered by richer foods — 10 years ago

These wines separate the folks who drink wine from those that appreciate art in liquid form. I've met this vigeron before and he's humble but wicked talented. This wine was ready but still needed an hour decant. Funk and first floor burnt cherry in color resembling more cdp characteristics but definitely showing the deterrent terror. What a wonderful effort. — 9 years ago
