Best wine I tasted — 9 years ago
Dei bei fruttini rossi danno il benvenuto al naso svelando il varietale del vitigno, poi il terroir viene fuori e piano piano prende il sopravvento ed il vino acquista una struttura importante pur non perdendo in bevibilita'. Buono

Wow! Hard to believe this is a California wine. Major win for terroir here. Juice obviously coming from old vines that are respected completely in farming practice and transparent winemaking hands. Minerals are beautiful in this with a nice complexity and very well balanced fruit. Reminds me of cru Beaujolais and light terroir driven CdR blended. I feel privileged to have a few bottles and privileged to have this vision happening here in California! 👍🏼 — 9 years ago
2008 is early in this wine's optimal window. Drinking beautifully with years to go. Here's what I tasted: lavender, dark cherry, chocolate, and coffee. This wine has the best components of Bordeaux varietals combined with the place notes of Italian terroir. Food friendly with structure, what's not to like? — 9 years ago
... Mamma mia ! Che terroir, che vino ... Elegantissimo e potente al tempo stesso ! — 11 years ago
A great example of why Brunellos are loved so much - great terroir and lingering aromas make this a beautiful wine to drink. Easily can be kept laying down for another 7-8 years. — 9 years ago

Loved this wine. Very fruity on the open, let it sit for an hour or so and that mid-Napa terroir is amazing. Drinks like a wine al it's own.. — 9 years ago
