2013 is a great vintage that gives pronounced fruit and acidity. — 7 years ago
Another great one from brézé. Burnt popcorn, caramel, pineapple, marshmallow. Could age for several more years — 8 years ago

Wow. Love this Sardinian. The front is big and salty. My favorite with big flavored food. I have not decided on the end yet. This went down with an awesome grilled pork loin seasoned in prunes and Dijon mustard. Side was a very flavorful split pea and onion mash. — 10 years ago

A real treat of a wine, deliciousness in a bottle. An intense copper, pink color with small bubbles. An intoxicating nose of black cherries, wild strawberries, and smoke. There’s a very nice mix of fresh herbs and spices here, as well. Shrubbery and floral accents.
Mostly Pinot Noir from Vertus along with 10% Pinot Gris, made in the Saignée style. Thrilling and quite vinous with enough of that customary Larmandier-Bernier raciness and tension. Such a beautiful mouthfeel and so incredibly fresh. A fine attack with zippy acidity and impressive length.
Plenty of fruit on the palate but never descending into a fruit bomb. Just a touch of biscuits with more smoke and more pronounced earthiness. Truly, a splendid wine. One I could drink everyday but it’s so much better shared.

Wow... this was outstanding. A floral bouquet + honeycomb + chalk left out in the rain... And I haven’t even got to the tingly, acidic grace note yet. A wonderful complement to grilled halibut with lemon and asparagus. — 6 years ago

More robust than most Etna Rossi. Slow sipping and thoroughly enjoyable. — 3 years ago
We actually quite liked this, but were really confused about why this “dry white wine” came out red 🤷🏼♀️ — 6 years ago
Extremely floral on the nose, intense red & blue fruit on the palate leading with cranberry right after opening, then blueberry, finishing with some earthiness and a slightly gritty texture leaving a finish on your palate reminding you the wine was there. Bottle really evolves after some decanting! — 7 years ago
Nose shows hints of Brandy and light citrus. Tasting notes include honey, apricots, peach. Easy drinking wine. — 8 years ago
Juicy blackberries, currants and black tea with moderate+ oak. Enjoyable. — 9 years ago
Not as intense as the savagnin, but a tasty and complex bottle. The Chardonnay adds some bright Apple to the mix, hint of funk, nice salinity and minerality. — 9 years ago
Delicious savory flavors of soy sauce and fruit. Really special. — 10 years ago
From two old vine sites in Vertus, this has been one of my favorites for more than a decade. The vintage, 2009 is on the back label. It is fermented in large, old wood. While this wine has no dosage it has the ripeness to achieve balance. A big Chassagne mouthfeel and a long chalky finish! — 12 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Aged 50% in stainless steel and 50% in old Burgundian barrels. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and herb notes. On the palate flavors of green apple, pear and lime citrus with notes of pepper and herb spice. Medium+ finish, chalky, vivid acidity and ends with mineral spice. Nice! — a year ago
