Interesting wine with a great cost x benefit. Smooth, fresh and fruity. — 8 years ago
More like a crianza than a reserva. Good for easy drinking with nibbles although im sure it would match bold tomato or meaty flavours nicely too. Do watch out for DO Terras Altas, this is a typically excellent example of some of its wonderful offerings. Available in Spain for less than 6€ and worth that plus nosequé more! — 9 years ago
Delicated carignan from DO Terra Alta, softness and lovely red fruits, balanced acidity, salty notes... — 9 years ago

Has a nice sweet taste, a little better than the Franzia I would steal from my mom l. — 11 years ago
Ótimo na hora do almoço. — 12 years ago
I tried this wine alongside a bunch of very good Barolos. A tough crowd from which to differentiate one. But this wine managed to do so by virtue of its extraordinary freshness: like sniffing a jar of Italian herbs that have had a bunch of cherries thrown in for good measure. A very unusual Nebbiolo but a fascinating one for sure. I'm eager to try other vintages of this singular wine. — 7 years ago
Great with our Mexican meal at Toucan Resort. Definite do over. I hope they have it at the LCBO in Ontario. — 9 years ago
Um vinho do Dão, puro, sem artifícios, um vinho que tem a "terra" toda. — 9 years ago
Texture! Had me at the first sip. High extract and a little bitter initially... Paired with an oily fish (pesto or rich sauce would also do) and this becomes a winner. #texture #macabeu #terraalta #mendal — 9 years ago
Whoa, I don't think the current ratings do this one any justice. Jammy on the nose. Oak, blackberry, black cherry, pepper and spice. Once this warms up it turns into a pleasant wine with a full body finish that's quite tannic with sufficient acidity. I'd definitely drink this again. — 9 years ago
Carreguem! — 10 years ago
Perhaps my favorite red wine produced in the contiguous south of Italy. This vintage is all over the place with camphor, creosote, tar, tobacco. I have to meet these people this year. I have an amazing story about this wine. Nic and Diane, do you remember the amazing "sleep under a bridge meal"? — 11 years ago
Now we're getting serious.....
Wow......fantastic bottle,, but still has room to grow! Had a bunch of tannins yet, and showed lots of earth, exhibiting some wonderful fruits but not fully developed at its open, but a half hour later was just luscious. Have more, and glad I do! — 8 years ago
Very nice. I'd do it again. — 9 years ago
Needed some cooking wine for my braised short ribs. I bought a case of this for about $20 per bottle. It's nice. A little green, but a solid Napa cab. Very fresh and fruity. I think it will do the job nicely — 10 years ago
A little dry, touch of blackberry taste. Good and I'd do it again. — 10 years ago
2013 Vintage. Pale lemon color. Very distinctive aroma of hay, citrus flowers and some stony minerality, all echoed on the palate. 60% Godelo, 40% Treixadura. Quirky and dynamic, perhaps too much for new wine lovers, but more experienced palates will be attracted to this high personality wine. — 10 years ago
I don't generally like white wine... But when I do, this is on the short list. Yum! — 12 years ago

Another stunner from the Terra Alta Do, Edetària yields an untethered expression of Garnatxa Blanca. Animale, cantaloupe peel, and dried pear pave way to apollenous, expansive mid-palate that's rustic and refined at once. A pleasant tahini-like bitterness adds complexity to the finish. — 7 years ago
