O vinho com inspiração nos aborígenes Selknam da Terra do Fogo, no sul do Chile, continua oferecendo experiências ricas, suaves e elegantes - como deve ser a representação de Deus pelas máscaras de Fogo: nós, espíritos que andam. — 6 years ago
Rating my second bottle of 2009. First was sometime 2014/15. This is so heavy, driven by deep dark cherry fruit and so much forest floor it reminds me of Brunello. Not as elegant as 2007 and 2008 vintages. But still very likable and I do like many of Eric’s wines (Terra Nuema, Dierke and his Riesling, namely) — 7 years ago
Another stunner from the Terra Alta Do, Edetària yields an untethered expression of Garnatxa Blanca. Animale, cantaloupe peel, and dried pear pave way to apollenous, expansive mid-palate that's rustic and refined at once. A pleasant tahini-like bitterness adds complexity to the finish. — 7 years ago
Interesting wine with a great cost x benefit. Smooth, fresh and fruity. — 8 years ago
Great with our Mexican meal at Toucan Resort. Definite do over. I hope they have it at the LCBO in Ontario. — 9 years ago
Very nice. I'd do it again. — 9 years ago
Solid, not spectacular. Smooth, rich, chocolate-y. Would do again, wouldn’t go crazy for — 7 years ago
I tried this wine alongside a bunch of very good Barolos. A tough crowd from which to differentiate one. But this wine managed to do so by virtue of its extraordinary freshness: like sniffing a jar of Italian herbs that have had a bunch of cherries thrown in for good measure. A very unusual Nebbiolo but a fascinating one for sure. I'm eager to try other vintages of this singular wine. — 7 years ago
More like a crianza than a reserva. Good for easy drinking with nibbles although im sure it would match bold tomato or meaty flavours nicely too. Do watch out for DO Terras Altas, this is a typically excellent example of some of its wonderful offerings. Available in Spain for less than 6€ and worth that plus nosequé more! — 9 years ago
Delicated carignan from DO Terra Alta, softness and lovely red fruits, balanced acidity, salty notes... — 9 years ago
Monthly WTF group recap. Theme this month was “bring something special”. Normally we taste all of the wines blind, but we decided to do a relaxed night with amazing wines at a great restaurant. Spectacular evening!
What a treat this will be in 10yrs! Very youthful right now. I don’t know how the grapes are used here, but it was reminiscent of whole cluster Pinot. Similarities to the Antica Terra Angelical wine but more spice and denser core. Lifted and energetic profile. Smoked and slightly bloodied with iron and smoky beef jerky. The finish showed tart mulberries and baked black cherries. Oak wasn’t very noticeable. Hold. — 6 years ago
This yellow-gold wine has aromas that are more herbal than floral, with savory dill bolstering the citrus and stone fruit. The palate carries much citrus along with savory balsamic notes. Acidity is great, and makes for a lively pairing with a variety of salads and seafood. — 6 years ago
Now we're getting serious.....
Wow......fantastic bottle,, but still has room to grow! Had a bunch of tannins yet, and showed lots of earth, exhibiting some wonderful fruits but not fully developed at its open, but a half hour later was just luscious. Have more, and glad I do! — 8 years ago
Um vinho do Dão, puro, sem artifícios, um vinho que tem a "terra" toda. — 9 years ago

Dark blackish red that slightly clings to the glass. Black fruit and tobacco on the inviting nose. Full bodied palate gives black cherry, black tea, and cigar box. Fine dusty tannins. Medium acidity. Long, luxurious, black velvet finish. Calls out for grilled or roasted meats. Beef will do, but lamb or game would be sublime. Drink now through 2028 or beyond. — 5 years ago
