From the Haro-Lumia Tasters' Dozen. Creamy and fuller-bodied, with apple and mineral flavors. Fantastic. A WS Top 100. New York has really come a long way and is a force to be reckoned with.

Creamy, tropical and floral notes dominate nose and palette. Lemongrass finish with supple tannins keeping the flavor in the mouth for a very long time. Fantastic. Care of the generosity of Jason Lumia. If you're not already following him, you should be. — 10 years ago
From the Haro-Lumia "Tasters' Dozen." Terrific. In a blind you'd never know this was from Argentina. Apple and melon flavors with a long, creamy finish. A WS Top 100. — 8 years ago
Bevuto all'accademia della Muffa Nobile, molto buono, concentrato di frutta essiccata e infiniti aromi..va centellinato, anche perché dopo un po' potrebbe risultare pesante. Da meditazione — 12 years ago
Lots of new releases at Casa di Lumia. Part strategy to take a test drive and see if I should stock up. Part pride - it's a race against friends to see who is truly on top of his/her game.Next up Daou 2016. Once again it lives up to its billing. Bursting with cherry, currant, vanilla, and toasty oak flavors. Fruit-forward, but has depth and complexity. Another great effort. — 8 years ago
From the Haro-Lumia Tasters' Dozen. Apparently I had this almost a year ago; I have zero recollection. Anyway....slightly different tasting notes. A lot of rich blackberry fruit, mixed with some accents of plum, followed by a lot of road tar and hints of chocolate. Rich with a lot of depth. Amazing now, but patience will be rewarded. Lumia shows why he's prescient once again (which is why you should all be following him). This is a classic food wine: earthy, tannic, subtle fruit with spice rack notes and blackberry flavors at its core. The medium finish is chocolate and tobacco. Young. Looking forward to this is 3-5 years. — 9 years ago

From the Haro-Lumia Tasters Dozen. Faint notes of cherry are evident, but secondary flavors dominate this medium-bodied wine. While lighter on the palate, it is full of forest floor, mushroom, and tobacco flavors. The finish is long and ends with a hint of menthol. Just a beautiful, seductive wine that will only get better over the next 10 years. A WS Top 100. — 8 years ago
