16.5+. Classico indeed, except that chianti wasn’t as good 30 years ago. The Sangiovese really comes through in a distinctive way in this wine. Great year, pity to drink it so young, but that’s what I could get at the Coop in Chianciano (good range, by the way - Caparzo, Altesino, ...). — 6 years ago
I love it. Not for Jess or Carla — 7 years ago
Spice seems to be a characteristic of 2010 BdM, this one opened very similarly to the Gaja with lot of warm pepper on the nose. In terms of body, tannin grip and masculinity it's more towards the Gaja than Caparzo but not at the same depth and quality.
Still a very pleasing wine, complex nose of fruit and spice, austere in the nose and palate, definitely Classic Brunello. Lots of coolness, fleshy grippy tannin, great mouth feel for such a light wine.
The finish holds remarkably well.
As expected accessible now but will age well. — 9 years ago
Soft, medium-body, nice to drink after dinner on it's own, would pair well with pasta, veal, chicken. — 10 years ago
A Sangiovese clone that I really like. Made by Caparzo. Lighter and more fruit forward than a chianti Classico. Black cherry and blackberry with a smooth finish. Enjoyable bottle of wine. — 6 years ago

Very nice and elegant light peppery notes and a bit of freshness given by the Sangiovese. Smooth tannins and fine finish. — 7 years ago
