I'm not a whiskey drinker, but when I do this is always my choice. The strength of whiskey is nicely balanced with honey, which you can definitely taste here! Perfect neat, or with ice or as a hot whiskey for cold weather. — 7 years ago
This had a really nice flavor to it. Tad sweet but not overly. — 8 years ago
Recommended by my customer in Alabama. He said it's what they prefer drink in the South, rather than the more commercial local brands. — 9 years ago
Pretty smooth wine from the WSJ Wine club. Paired with a homemade Bolognese. — 9 years ago
Home sweet home. A little nuttiness, lighter than a bourbon due to the charcoal filtration. Greener than most whiskeys for those who have a sweet tooth. — 11 years ago

This vintage, 2004 reserve, much like the 2011 but more mellow and very drinkable. Thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas Day 2016 with family and homemade Italian pork ragu with pasta, meatballs, bruschetta. — 7 years ago

Full in flavor, yet smooth. — 10 years ago
Who knew? A fantastic blend with notes of blackberries, cocoa and heavy baking spices. The flavors are highlighted by the Smokey whiskey flavors from 18 months in the barrel with the last 6 in a jack Daniels Tennessee sour mash barrel. Totally unique and surprisingly splendid. — 7 years ago
This is the only Muscatine wine I can find that I enjoy. Its not overly sweet and a nice flavor. — 7 years ago

There's a lot to like about this whisky. There's also quite a lot not to like. The intense vanilla, caramel, mocha flavors are delicious and sustain beautifully. However, there isn't the elegance or smoothness of a great whisky. Better than most large production options at a similar price point and a worthy addition to the home bar.
