Great for a dry white — 9 years ago
Recommended by my customer in Alabama. He said it's what they prefer drink in the South, rather than the more commercial local brands. — 10 years ago
Full in flavor, yet smooth. — 11 years ago
Home sweet home. A little nuttiness, lighter than a bourbon due to the charcoal filtration. Greener than most whiskeys for those who have a sweet tooth. — 11 years ago
Color of dark amber. Nose is mellow with oak, sweet baked apple, sweet pear, spice from alcohol, nice flavors eater, smooth bourbon, and nothing close to indicate she is 90 proof. Taste is waves of sweetness with spicy bourbon, milk chocolate, canyon, oak, concentrated, powerful, zesty, yet smooth. Very long finish with similar notes plus flowering note, and enjoyable. — 7 years ago
This is the only Muscatine wine I can find that I enjoy. Its not overly sweet and a nice flavor. — 8 years ago

I have one and I'm not opening it. — 10 years ago
Homemade ravioli night and Barbaresco! This wine never disappoints and this bottle had lots of pretty dark fruit and more than a little savor and intrigue. — 10 years ago
Really great Brunello with some homemade chicken parm. Opened up throughout the dinner. — 11 years ago
Who knew? A fantastic blend with notes of blackberries, cocoa and heavy baking spices. The flavors are highlighted by the Smokey whiskey flavors from 18 months in the barrel with the last 6 in a jack Daniels Tennessee sour mash barrel. Totally unique and surprisingly splendid. — 7 years ago
Went great with homemade green curry — 8 years ago
I'm not a whiskey drinker, but when I do this is always my choice. The strength of whiskey is nicely balanced with honey, which you can definitely taste here! Perfect neat, or with ice or as a hot whiskey for cold weather. — 8 years ago
A sweet fruity wine from the beautiful Cumberland Plateau of East Tennessee! A friend of mine went there on vacation so now we're wine tasting! — 9 years ago
Very smooth with a good balance of salt and caramel — 9 years ago

There's a lot to like about this whisky. There's also quite a lot not to like. The intense vanilla, caramel, mocha flavors are delicious and sustain beautifully. However, there isn't the elegance or smoothness of a great whisky. Better than most large production options at a similar price point and a worthy addition to the home bar.
