Deep Ruby color with aromas of rich berry fruits and floral spice, aged for 14 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry flavors, with leather, cacao, spice, herbs and tobacco notes. Lively acidity, fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with spicy mineral and earthy oak. Nice! — 9 months ago

This wine was never I commend it to stretch nine years, but it was very satisfying and still offered that beautiful aged Barolo feel – in both texture and in floral/verbal nuance! For probably $16, I count this is a real bargain and fun experience for our Ginger teriyaki salmon pairing :) — 6 years ago
