Day 1: Interesting experiment. I can see why it’s used for blending. Very neutral and a little lemony.
Day 2: Really grew on me. Acidity dropped and allowed fruit to come in. Still like lemon but more like lemon custard. I suggest decanting for a bit — 6 years ago

Bright green-gold in the glass…lemon, pineapple, yuzu notes with a hint of green grass with lively acidity. Serious weight, nicely dry, touch of bitter grip on the finish. Finally. This wine takes much longer to show its core beauty than one might expect. Now layered and full of honeyed quince and green olive and hay and herbs. The baby fat is gone, and while this still holds weight on the palate, it's more muscled and taut, less big and sloppy. Very true to it's Rhône heritage. — 8 years ago
