Sven erik served this for our first nite in Stockholm. Rich full bodied brimming with fruit cherry and leather. Would be amazing with nice brisket but equally fabulous with cheese course!

Elderflower aromas! Not vegetal or green at all, botanical, very atypical sauv blanc. — 8 years ago
Orange! Dark for a Rose. The classic E&M herbs on the nose thyme, rosemary,...boy this one looks spectacular just buy it for the color? Complex and long slightly bitter, fresh, acidic, lime, forest strawberries and a little elderberry on the back palate. Would pair super well with stinky cheese or really anything. Could be mistaken for a cocktail with some drops of a bitter. I would think this needs to be aged - man is this awesome💥💥💥. A stand out for a Rose there is nothing like it out there. I have no idea how Sven and Florian do this - the most complex rose ever. Therefore very highly rated. But alas more for geeks the crazy ones, the square pegs....others might be disappointed by this really unique beast. I should have bought cases..... — 8 years ago
Feine Aromen von reifen Erdbeeren und Himbeeren mit Noten von Mandel und Thymian. Am Gaumen ist er dicht, rund mit einer frischen Säure, die dem Abgang eine große Leichtigkeit verleiht. — 9 years ago

2009. This has aged into a perfect dark cherry, smoky tea monster with a slightly more supple texture than in its youth and the same feral earth notes I adore from this producer. I agree with recent CT tasters: this is ready to go now. Not a lot to gain by waiting. Reminds me of Chambolle/Volnay. Even Echezeaux, really. All hail Sven and Florian! Rien sans peine, indeed. It was worth it! — 7 years ago
