Rich, complex, gratifying. Big butterscotch and caramel with citrus notes. Tasty as F* IMO. — 11 years ago
Wine is fine, but liquor is quicker. — 14 years ago
Best Islay scotch I've had! This is coming from an avid fan of Lagavulin. It has a maple bouquet with notes of a burning campfire. Taste is very complex with massive amounts of peat, burnt wood and extraordinary yet subtle sweetness. The finish is long and malty. If you like Laphroaig, you will find a new favorite scotch. Located just down the coast from the Laphroaig distillery this scotch is a best buy at around 70$ at your local liquor store. — 12 years ago

Burnt umber color. Rich, dried red fruits, cherry liquor, honey, spice, and port aromas. Nutmeg, honeycomb, dark chocolate, walnut, and figs on the palate. Long, syrupy finish. — 10 years ago
