JL tasting 1/17/17. Very floral and stony nose and very acidic and minerals palate with long acidic finish. Very firm body with surprising bite. Never had this grape. $15 good value. 14 ABV. — 9 years ago
Nice complexity, touch of red fruits. Enjoyable. — 10 years ago
Wow. Love this Sardinian. The front is big and salty. My favorite with big flavored food. I have not decided on the end yet. This went down with an awesome grilled pork loin seasoned in prunes and Dijon mustard. Side was a very flavorful split pea and onion mash. — 10 years ago

Great red in Sardinia — 9 years ago
Nose is a bit fruity, maybe some raison undertones. The raison aroma really comes through after some aeration. Nice flavor, ripe red fruit. Very tasty. It does need some breathing time. — 9 years ago

Carignano del Sulcis DOC 2011, 13.5%.
Bottle tasted in October 2014. Limited quantities produced with Carignano gapes from pre-phylloxera vineyard located right next to the beach and the sea, on the South West coast of Sardinia Island.
Color is a bit brown, but nose is quite rich: sweet, vinous, light pastry, liquored cherries, and even a little green.
In the mouth rich of smooth tannins and taste of licorice, almost a "chewable" wine. I really liked it! — 11 years ago
well balanced. vintage: 2008 — 11 years ago
From sun-dried grapes of a local Sardinia white variety (Nasco), an excellent dessert wine... Fresh, mineral, with a center of dried apricot and candy orange. Vintage 2010, the first on production. A big deal for the future! — 12 years ago

Now that's the local nectar!!!! Eating pork Milanese in Milan with a bottle of the owners wine from Sardegna. Mom is feeling those earthy notes of fresh grass and olive trees but I'll be honest after a bottle all I smell is GRAPE! (It's a good thing) — 10 years ago
My first Nuragus di Cagliari ... Excellent with fettuccine ala vongole!! — 11 years ago

Dark golden amber. Pungent grapefruit jelly, orange peel, caramel and honey notes on the captivating nose. Rich and creamy on entry, then lighter and lively thanks to an underpinning of fresh minerality. Caramel and sweet notes last and last. Made with 100% Nasco, this is a famous, multiple-award-winning wine, the charms of which have almost always escaped me; not so in this vintage. One of the very best versions of Latinias ever.
