Found at charming "Stowe Wine and Cheese" shop in Vermont, this great Brunello is from the stellar 2010 vintage. Silvio Nardi, in the NW part of Montalcino, makes wine with grapes from different parts of the region. Bright red color with hint of brick orange; nose is full of red fruit, delicious herbs and mint; taste is powerful yet delicate, with silky tannins, high acids, orange peel, and a moderate-length finish with some soothing chestburn at the very end (14.5%). Won't touch my other bottles for many years. — 9 years ago
