Vanilla is the first thing that hits you. The caramel adds a certain sweetness to the taste. I would literally drink this all the time if I could get it. Dark, tasty, perfection. — 8 years ago
Thick. Sweet coconut and chocolate. Roasty coffee aftertaste. — 9 years ago
Caramel, dark chocolate, and espresso beans. Another one please! — 9 years ago

Great brew, just great. Roasty. — 8 years ago
I have been drinking a lot of beers lately, that is because I have far too many!! 69 different beers at last count! Most are strong ales, barley wines, and barrel aged (fill in the blank) this coffee stout is just a simple old favorite with a mocha nose, and a wood ear mushroom rustic touch. A mostly creamy head with animal cracker lacing, a well-integrated and borderline milk-stout mouthfeel, strong coffee note that remains well into second breakfast. The beer geek brunch is on tap down the street. Feral coffee? Let's get schizophrenic! — 9 years ago
Brakefast in a beer. I wont dare to describe not to offend conosieurs? Just that I like dark beers just as much and this is the best Ive ever had. — 9 years ago
Dark coffee, shaved bitter chocolate, charcoal, dried black fig, just a hint of candied lemon zest. Spasibo, North Coast! — 9 years ago
Very smooth. Nice. Chocolate for sure. Toasted espressos beans. Yum. — 9 years ago
This is amazing. Dense flavors of coffee and chocolate, very velvety Amy Currens said shoo fly pie in a glass. So aromatic and malty. Super long finish — 10 years ago
Best in class. As a fan of Founder's Breakfast Stout, this beer checks all the boxes and is the new king of the category. If only I could have this for breakfast everyday....
Whatever you've heard about this beer, it's better than that. — 9 years ago
Chicory coffee darkness and rich leaf compost. No trace of the licorice in the particulates wafting. Frizzante licorice extract is quick to express, raking fine-grained across the entire tongue. Chicory coffee again, against a slate backdrop, ginger beer when it thins, but real, swelling kind of dark-oasted stout repercussions that focus and enrich this enjoyable effort. — 9 years ago
2012 Rebel Yell: Not as memorable as the bottle opened last year.
Dates, cold brew coffee, toffee and just enough oxidized character to be interesting, but still past its prime.

Def a slight bourbon finish . — 9 years ago
Very dark, but smooth and bubbly and not as heavy as it appears. Tasty and easy to drink like a lager with notes of chocolate. — 9 years ago
This is insanely good. The malty, chocolate stout hits first and then spice. Amazing. — 10 years ago

Don't get any on your clothes. This shit is dark. Dark fruit aroma. A flavor bomb of coffee, licorice, chocolate, and muscovado. The mouthfeel is like you're eating a piece of fudge. Most excellent. 12% abv $4.00 16oz can Chucks Hop Shop — 8 years ago
