Wow, the acidity took me places! The nose is pretty clear and quiet: stones. I agree with Chaad; the palate is bitter with fruit like lemons and riper stuff, and the texture feels creamy. Most of all, I liked how the acidity came, went, and returned: waves, arcs, and angles. — 9 years ago

Tasted January 2014
Deep ruby to dark garnet, St. Laurent Ausstich is "selection of the best barrels of the vintage". Smoked cherries, herbs and forest berries dominate on the bouquet. Palate is juicy, with chokeberries and soft wooden tartness, slightly straight. Sour cherry and oak hints on meduim length finish. Overall - pretty nice wine with velvety structure, balanced and elegant to some extent. Suits roe deer sliced and cooked in onion sauce. — 9 years ago

Nice, bright, and lovely mineral taste — 10 years ago
A nice wine with light oxidation notes but very elegant, rich - it displays much character and great ripeness seems like a very solar wine - a nice Grüner with muscles and this few years make it pleasant - just could have little more freshness #erstelagen2015 #winelover #oetw — 10 years ago
Todella hapokas mutta tasapainoisen raikas kokonaisuus. Grünerin vihreä yrttisyys nousee hyvin esille. — 11 years ago
