Probably the most twiggy/stalky of Steve Flamsteed’s single vineyard cuvees. Perhaps overdid the whole bunch ferment aspect a little bit here. A good savoury intensity with fluid smooth tannins. Well made as always. From the very good 2015 vintage in the Yarra Valley. — 7 years ago
Light golden color. Probably the most complex nose of any white wine I've ever had. I get meyer lemon, some veggies, metallic elements, and about 10 other things I'm not good enough to pin down. Wine is crisp and balanced with just the amount of tartness I enjoy. Above average finish. This is a wine that is not meant to be figured out but to be enjoyed for its multiple dimensions. Well done Steve! — 8 years ago
This vintage was fantastic. Nicely balanced. Right amount of pepper. Very much an underrated winery. — 7 years ago

Wonderful nose of dark fruit, oak and cinnamon. Fantastic tastes of blueberries, blackberries, cassis, baking spices and oak. A bold wine with solid tannins that are still working to put on silk gloves. This is a blend of grapes from all 15 AVA's in Napa back in 2010. Probably has another decade or more in terms of optimal bottle life. Steve Reynold's at his best. — 9 years ago

Had another bottle, aged well. Steve & Paula Black pursued a dream in 2003 and purchased a 110-acre vineyard located in the Red Hills of Dundee creating The Four Graces, named after their four daughters. Medium Ruby with surprisingly complex aromas of red fruits, herb and spice. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors with tea and espresso notes adding a bit of pepper spice. Well balanced acidity with fine tannins, medium(+) length, ending with earthy notes. Nice value! Tasting Sample! — 6 years ago
Light body and lean, soft extraction. Ripe; blackberries, dark cherries, blueberries, bright cherries, soft understated vanilla, amazing bright red & blue florals. Beautiful acidity with a lean well polished fruity, finish.
Photos of; the Estate property, a nice sunset as seen from one of their sitting areas on their property, Owner/Winemaker, Steve Matthiasson having some vineyard fun amongst some of his very old gnarly vines and another shot of of a Matthiasson vineyard. — 7 years ago

Great winery. Great wine. Lovely balance. — 9 years ago
Another masterstroke from Steve Pannel, beautiful cold climate shiraz, good body, dark berries, touch of soft spice but overall a nice fruit driven shiraz for Australian climates. — 9 years ago
I purchased a case of this wine on release and have been drinking a bottle per year to follow the evolution of this unusual grape variety as produced by the superlative Carole Meredith and Steve Lagier.
The early bottles showed a bloody brooding meaty power, but the wine has become more refined over the years.
This last bottle was the brightness with pleasant acidity, pure fruit, and a gracefulness on the palate that was slightly reminiscent of Gattinara instead of Rhone Syrah.
