This is stunning. What poise and length. The length is ridiculous. Wild, feral, stony nose, gravy, darkness, woodland berries, elf-like creature's tiny droppings and so much more. Not for everyone but it is definitely for me. Palate is refined and powerful with serious structure and density and very vivid fruit. A big boy but so juicy. What length. Clear burgundy color. Floral, red fruit nose. Austere red fruit, some red licorice, and some earthy dryness on the back end. Lingers a bit. Tight. Not sure what it will do after being open. — 11 years ago
