Cellared for 2 years - notes of raisin begin to appear underneath a fruit forward wine. — 3 years ago
Without having a basis for comparison, this is a nice wine. Upon opening the nose is cherry with a touch of floral, high alcohol and light body color. Taste similarly, light with lots of cherry, smoke, tobacco, leather and tart but not fully integrated yet. As it decanted, the flavors started to meld yet never subsiding in its structure. Would like to try this after some age on it. — 5 years ago
Expressive nose of sweet and sour cherries, blue berries, incense, and dried flower. Round and bright palate with medium to high acidity and soft bittersweet tannins. From a tiny 2/3 of a hectare family holding of the Santo Stefano di Perno vineyard, aged for 18 months in used Slovakia oak barrel, this Barbera shows exceptional freshness and purity of the fruits at this young age, but also has depth and structure to age further. — 7 years ago
Drinking fantastically right now — 10 years ago
Intensely aromatic. Black tea, rose petals, red cherry and tar. Every component feels accentuated but in a very balanced way. Lots of fruit, good amount of acid, solid tannic grip and long finish. — 10 years ago
Best i've had in a long long time! — 11 years ago

Great wine, different, grapes are aged longer with this wine, different but great — 9 years ago
Really great red blend. Sangiovese dominates. Stand way too much because so easy on the palate. — 10 years ago
Deep dark color , boysenberry silky tannins , this one will just get better — 12 years ago
Excellent pinot, would make a great gift as it’s really agreeable sipping out with food, pasta, fish. Great acidity on the tongue, very crisp — 8 months ago

Delicious! Nose was full and fruity. Blueberry pie, cassis, dark fruits and some floral notes. Tastes delicious. Some tannins that softened over the course of the bottle. Would be nice decanted. — 7 years ago
Local distributor no longer carrying Red Cat by Hazlitt Vineyards, this was recommended as a suitable substitute. I have to agree with the recommendation. — 8 years ago
Slight earthiness with mellow tannins. — 9 years ago
My favorite 'champagne', this is what I drink for New Years Eve. Delicious without accompanying food, this bottle was meant to be dessert all on it's own. — 9 years ago
Great fruit forward, bold wine....probably past drinking age, but solid recommendation from the Somm at Bistro Romano, which by the way is awesome!!! — 10 years ago

Very nice Bordeaux blend. Nice spicy aroma with good finish. Peppery at end. Still has tannins and should age for 5-10 years. Vintage. 2020 — 7 months ago
