Huge huge wine. Not sure how would actually peg it as burg. After an hour it was relieved of some of its "stress". Deep black cherry. Somehow was refreshing... killer wine. Not sure it's worth the $$, but great. — 9 years ago

Very drinkable but not too sweet. Light bodied. Got it at ball square. — 9 years ago
Nose of white pepper overriding floral aspects. A bit four square but in a nice place right now — 10 years ago
Champagne heaven; not just Krug but one from a tiptop year 88; a liver, and with the cask age behind the wine, cleverly together, so much body, power, stout, square yet seminally linear; flavour-bursting; #champagne #krug #1988 #champagneaward #aussies #drinking #thetop — 10 years ago
Delicious Barolo at Union Square Cafe! — 10 years ago

Another good value from the Alto Piemonte. Great with a burger and chicken at union square cafe. Aromatic, mouth filling, balanced, loads of freshness. — 8 years ago
The nose is pure barnyard. A cow just shit in my glass while I wasn't looking. I really needed a clothes peg to block the smell. But, once you penetrate that, the wine sings on the palette. Cherries, prunes, olives, tobacco and saddle leather dance together. Finishes sweet and sexy. Purchased from British Airways after decommissioning Concorde. — 9 years ago
Good aroma. Its garnet color is quite good to express 2000 vintage. Dry taste even in California wine, but is it due to matured? @,sun square,160412 — 9 years ago
Peg and I both liked it but I liked it more than Peg — 9 years ago
Easy to peg, but not the vintage. Just entering its window. Palate staining, great fruit. Lasts for 90 plus seconds. Complete wine. — 9 years ago

Matt says big, fruit-forward, lots of cherry, lingering finish. I say it's great for an open-air cafe on a little square in Barcelona. Cheers! — 10 years ago
Don't let "Table Wine" fool you! This is better than a lot of pure Cabs I've had!

On managers special $10.99, normally $20 Union Square Wine — 8 years ago
Smooth from start to finish, full silky flavor with soft, sweet nose, very balanced. Not sure if it's worth the $24 price... — 9 years ago
Love the 45% Cab Franc, which lightens and brightens in a really good way. Nice, particularly for first vintage. — 9 years ago
First of all, too young. Explosive, spicy, chocolate, lilac, cassis and definitely on the Purp side of what I enjoy. Still a balancing acidity and formidable tannins that sneak up on you like a Barolo and end up hitting you square in the face and saying "don't you dare, you smug SOB". This is going to be my favorite wine in a decade or two and I'm going to wish I bought more. — 9 years ago
In room at W Union Square.

Very dark IPA. Very hoppy nose, super aromatic. Moderate bitterness with a slight sweetness at the end. Not bad. Dave is wearing juicy velour jumpsuit. Nice and purple. — 10 years ago
Great with lobster carbonara in Harvard Square! — 10 years ago
Reasonably priced, delicious and a great conversation starter.
It looks either like a bottle of olive oil or balsamic vinegar.
Either way- we bought a case! — 10 years ago
Cooked apple, citrus. Bought this with Autumn today at On The Square in Tarboro, NC. Thank you Inie! — 12 years ago

Nose of alcohol and earthiness. Taste out of the bottle was lots of fruit forward but opened up to lots of leather and pepper. Mainly a powerful earthy and oak wine. — 7 years ago
