Way interesting Barossa Cab offering a spicy walk through a higher altitude Colorado mountain meadow followed by the aromatic benefit offered up from a newly built oak barrel accepting its initial splendid splash. From there, it's a blueberry/cherry explosion, then the nose goes a little dirty - a crazy cool conversion. The blueberries hang, glide and cling thanks to a tannic/acid two-step twisting, twirling, then...
"kind woman
won't you love me tonight
the look in your eyes..." (vintage Buffalo Springfield; classically intriguing, romancing and memorable...)..,
PS pour me another one just like the other oneππ·ππ

Good wine with new friends at Flame. Paired with a window seat and seafood. Not bad, Springfield...Not bad. β 10 years ago
Fairly dark colour, almost metallic red, ripe, dark cherries on the nose, full, concentrated fruit, wild strawberries and loads of cherries on the palate, dark, earthy undertones yet elegant, precious. Not a light, fruity pinot noir, rather warm and full flavour with a deep, long finish. Still I prefer 2010 Springfield pinot. β 9 years ago
