Fantastic silky textured mouth feel, concentrated berries coming through but not too sweet. Delicious — 10 years ago
Smoke and tar nose. Bracken mixed with berry fruits with a nice 5-7 second finish. Excellent buy for a 14 year old domestic wine. — 11 years ago
My poison of choice at the local bar, The Sparrow Tavern. Very potent on the nose, black fruits. Full-bodied, nice and dry, hint of cherries, lingering finish that tickles the cheeks. Love it. — 13 years ago

Looking for a new white to add to your wine drinking repertoire? Well here it is. I had this wine and it's big brother (As Sortes) almost a half dozen times in Spain last week. This is an insane value at about $18. This is my wine of the year so far under $25.
Color of intense lemon yellow.
The nose is rich in fruit and fresh in minerality. Meyer lemon, golden pear, lime, salt, crushed rocks and a waxy floral note, a lot going on in the nose and palate. Speaking of the palate the crisp and mouthwatering acidity combines effortlessly with the depth and weight of the wine spectacularly into a clean, fresh finish. Buy it by the case and thank me later. For my local Hoboken and JC friends his can be found @ Sparrow in Hoboken (ask @Javier Martinez). #godello #valdeorras — 10 years ago
