From a site within Goldtropfchen this is an absolute stunner. 2017 sweet wines are 🔥🔥. Huge nose of apricot, minerals, sweet peaches, vulcanized rubber but in that Mosel way. So good. Amazing balance and richness. Like pink grapefruit with sugar on top and then a whiplash acidity, minerality and salinity. My god this is good. So clean and nimble while being intense and rich. Beautiful nose. Floral, slate, minerals, hint of apricot and peach, palate is to die for, elegant and textured with incredibly focused fruit. More like fruit skin but so precise. Apricot and peach. @delectable this is the reserve Not what I expected. Nose is mineral with some lovely lemon skin. Lemon flowers too. Lovely aromatics. Palate is intense delicious lemon with some Meyer lemon. Die Geschichte der Bodegas Lustau: 1896 als Don José Ruiz-Berdejo damit begann Weine auf seinem Gut „Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza“ anzubauen und diese später an die großen Handelshäuser der Region weiterzuverkaufen. Im Jahr 1940 verlegte Don Emilio Lustau Ortega, der Schwiegersohn von Don José Ruiz-Berdejo, die Bodega nach Jerez. In den Siebziger Jahren wurden dann die Anlagen auf Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza erneuert und vergrößert. In den 1980er Jahren entwickelte die Firma immer bessere Qualitäten.
