This is the 2013. It tastes right, like a petite sirah from California. Plum, red raspberry, spice, white pepper, bacon, and very black berries or overripe blueberries on the nose. Palate shows grippy tannins balanced nicely by sweet fruit and a moderately intense acidity that sometimes is lacking in a petite sirah. Finish is medium (+) (or highly appropriate for the price).
