This is excellent. I'm always leary about trying something new but I have to say this one put a smile on my face with the first sip. Full body with a dark red color. The main thing I smell and taste is cherry. Happy Friday! It's been a long busy week. π·π β 9 years ago
Easy to drink. Had at Juniper and Ivy. β 9 years ago
Saline, stone fruit, and a little feral Mourvedre edge. Not necessarily a patio pounder, but blossoms with food. Roast chicken anyone? #sandiego #kogodwinemerchant #letstaste10roses β 10 years ago
One of the Best IPA's on the Planet gets brewed with Grapefruit Juice, and is Freakin Awesome, Outstanding, Southern CA offering only at this time, so hard to find if you are not here in Southern CA, This takes Sculpin and brings in up a notch or 2, So Great!!' β 10 years ago
This has got to be the most refreshing red wine I ever had...with jamet CdR trailing shortly behind. No minerals here for contemplation but lord am I high on acid right now! This one's all about the judicious decisions very obviously made by the winemaker here to extract intensely on what most would consider grapes just barely hitting ripeness. Clocking in at a whopping 12% alcohol I could drink this all day everyday. Ultra clean strawberry dark cherry lemonade this one. Highly pleasurable and highly unique. Ate it with just about everything in my pantry just for fun and all of it worked. Definite recommendation. Another one up for american winemakers ππ β 10 years ago

Los Pilares San Diego County Red Blend 2013: Fresh. Natural. Extraordinary. Consisting of 50% Grenache & 50% Carignan, this was a light-bodied, extremely unique wine. Red fruits (cranberry & cherry). Plum. Earth. Short finish. For me, the wine was a bit thin on structure but very clean & natural tasting. This was my first San Diego County wine and it left me quite intrigued & impressed. Hoping to explore other San Diego wines in the near future. Cheersπ· β 3 years ago
