This is a red port that is more on the sweet desert end than the alcohol tartiness of the portugal port. Very good. The chicks will dig this when I buy it and you can only buy in the store. Red desert wine but NOT liquid sugar. More respectable. Chicks will wnjoy. — 11 years ago

I don't remember this vintage being anything special at release, but it has really come into its own 12 years out. Bright red fruit, crazy pretty aromatics, and supple tannins. Would have never guessed the age if I tasted it blind. — 11 years ago
