Perfect blend that worked well with the steak at Capital Grille — 7 years ago
Now is the time to drink this one. Had along with a Col Solare, and we preferred the latter. — 9 years ago

Château Croix de Labrie, Stella Solare Blanc, Vintage 2018. 13.5% ABV.

This was fantastic. Lots of lift and sweet but not cloying fruit. Kudos @Michael Meyer and thank you for helping get us spiffed out at Solare. A fun, special evening. — 7 years ago
Actually preferred over the Col Solare. — 10 years ago

Edna Valley Chardonnay at its finest.
Balanced-Smooth-mellowed acidity but still very brightest. Naturally fermented and aged in concrete. Round-luscious-rich. I'm cooking up a whole branzino in my wood Fired oven. This will pair perfectly. — 9 years ago

Silky black fruit with a touch of spice and coco powder. Lovely — 11 years ago

Mcfossati
The 2010 Solare was an outstanding vintage, made out of blend of mainly Sangiovese and Malvasia Nera. Its beautiful ruby color has started to show tints of garnet on the rim, the nose is full of aromas of cranberries, tart cherries, plums all in different stages. The palate is full, balanced, rich with lively acidity, soft tannins and a long complex finish.
I personally enjoy wines with age as I like to explore how the flavors and aromas change over time. In this one you can clearly experience the fruits going from fresh to dry. ⏰ We let it open in a decanter for a few hours and after serving, it continue to develop in the glass. — 5 years ago
