Explosive on the palate with floral and honeysuckle flavors, white fruit, tingly acid and potpourri that mix for a zippy, almost fizzy-feeling white. The finish is flat and uncomplicated, but worth it for the little dance on the palate up front. — 10 years ago
One of those "let's see what happens to this with a little age" wines that turns into a "why didn't I buy more of this when I had the chance?" one. — 11 years ago
I'm a big fan of Sobon Estate Zinfandels because of their luscious fruit forward character. This is just as good. Main fruit I pick up is cherry. Love it! — 9 years ago
Plum, raisin, smoke bomb. I kind of love it. Good for hot-off-the-grill fare — 9 years ago
It is very difficult to give a 10 online because I am NOT such an expert to know what a 10 is so I'll just tell you this wine is very interesting very delightful very entertaining on the palate it has a very nice kick very bold but polite — 9 years ago
Translucent garnet color, loaded with pure red fruit with a bit of vanilla, and supported by fine tannin, it reflects a more elegant style than last night's Sobon Rocky Top. Dangerously gluggable for a wine labeled at 14.9% alcohol. — 10 years ago
What a great blend of orange flavored sweetness to 17% Alc. By Vol. Worth every penny. — 9 years ago
