Such a fantastic wine. Complex enough for snobs and drinkable enough for a newbie. — 10 years ago
Not enough acid to bring around wine snobs who are used to Old World Pinot Gris, but just the right amount to justify the ripe pear notes. Well framed but not well tamed. Still a local favorite! — 10 years ago
2012 vintage. Big Cali blend. It is what it is. Ridiculous value. Quite comparable to Prisoner but half the price. If you're entertaining a large group of non wine snobs, serve this and people will not stop complimenting. — 10 years ago
Ok, I am on a cheap blend kick. Wine snobs, feel free to judge me. This one "Primal Roots" was solid. There was a distinct cherry finish to it. For a glass of wine in the evening this was very good. — 10 years ago
Not for wine snobs but great if want a nice wine that you can enjoy regularly without taking out a loan. Always on my wine rack and would serve to anyone. — 9 years ago
One of the best wines I've ever had. Ignore the oenophile snobs - wine spectator made a great call! — 10 years ago
Well everybody wants a big 'ol Napa Cab right? Well too bad Running Dogs of Imperialist Lackeys as Mao would say. Chairman Dana says I like a medium body well structured Sonoma Cab that's reasonably priced and when the Cultural Revolution comes I'll kick back with a bottle of Michael Pozzan's Cab and watch it all go down. Lots of leather and blackberry and enough oak to keep the Napa snobs happy but a smooth finish and very nice secondary notes of spice to keep it from being too heavy. Find this and try a test run Capitalists! — 10 years ago
If I must drink alone, I'm going to drink well. Wine snobs have more fun. So good, she vexed me out of my words! — 11 years ago
Oh, I love this wine so much, I call it Denzel. Every single time I talk a client into having this at their event or table -- they love it. It is perfect for compromising different palates when only one wine can be had... Merlot lovers, Pinot snobs, Cabernet aficionados ... They all can get along with this blend. It is wonderful to drink on it's own, but it shines wonderfully with food. Duh, I love this stuff. — 11 years ago

Wine snobs would call this a fruit bomb. I call it a classic Sonoma Zinfandel with a fruit jam nose and loads of blackberry, raspberry and other dark berry flavors with a bit of complexity if you give it an hour. A Zin that takes me back to the 90's . Delicious and a great value. — 10 years ago
Juicy and fruity. Easy to drink. Likely not for the wine snobs of the world, but I like it!! — 10 years ago
Excellent! This was placed in our AirBnB by our hosts, self proclaimed wine snobs. Being from near Napa Valley, we were skeptical but pleasantly surprised by this wine! Quite tasty and reasonably priced. Good for a snowy night in. — 10 years ago
This is wine to pour for those last remaining Francophile snobs who think they will never enjoy a bottle from --GASP --outside of France or surrounding vineyards. I know, there are thankfully not so many of these people left, but the point is, this tastes like a classic, pre-oakification, totally quaffable " let's have this with some rich, wintery food" sort of beverage. If you don't like this, we will have to find something else to talk about.
