This really needs some serious air and age, reductive to start but then mellowing out to citrus oil, macadamia nut and a strangely attractive meat jus note, like bobtail mixed with heather honey and lemon oil. There is plenty of Chablis esq reduction that edges into smoky bacon land but adds character. Lemon wet towels. Amazing structure in the mouth, it's almost like a vine creeper moving up through your mouth, a powerful snap on the mid palate, infinitely fresh, snappy mineral and with a gripping finish. — 9 years ago

A few years ago bought several bottles thinking I could medium age a few while I dipped in and out of tasting them. Now only one bottle left. Oops. I like best how its drinking now, has a nice acidic snap, had a broad, ungainly tomato-ey tone which now feels fresh & terroir specific, ie, red fruits incl wild raspberries & strawberries.
