10 barrels made. $50/btl.
From AR note sheet:
"19 year old vines planted in sandy clay-loam six miles from the Pacific in the heart of the Petaluma wind gap. Fermented 100% whole cluster with native yeast and basket pressed to neutral French oak barrels for 10 months." — 8 years ago
2009 tasted 2014: dark purple all the way to the rim, like a young wine. Rich blueberry nose with lovely lilac violet notes, and spicy anise oak. Velvety smooth tannins evenly coat the palate from soft entry to lingering ripe fruit finish. Wonderful. — 9 years ago

I might be the only dumb ass on the planet that views this wine as surreal. This wine from three year old vines on grimms ranch is absolutely gorgeous.... Only three year old vines but holy shit good. Almost raveneau like with creamy aromatics. I remember using this wine when we put it in a ceramic egg and let it sit on its Lee's for six months. Mineral driven goodness. — 8 years ago

Ridge, oh how I love you. Such a treat to get a six-year zin at the store. Took her down all by my lonesome. — 10 years ago
