Nimble, funky jaminess - the opposite of what you’d expect of a Cali Zin with almost 14% abv, in the best possible way. Very much in harmony and for my money, Scholium at its accessible best. — 5 years ago

The 2015, the other half of the night's comparison. Less subtle, more floral. Jasmine, rose petal, honey. All powerful, but all a bit separate and distinct. I think this could lie down for a good while. Will be pleased to try another bottle in a few years. — 7 years ago
The deep mystery of black currant - and its bright acidity as well. Changed a lot over an hour, probably hit its peak stride around that time. — 7 years ago
Pine, gin and menthol nose. Acid, stewed plum and tannic grip in the mouth, a bit of coffee on the finish. — 7 years ago

On the richer side for a Pinot. Sour cherry flavor, higher than average tannin, lots of baking spices. Good value. — 5 years ago
Excellent fruity Pinot with some minerality. Great turkey day wine — 6 years ago
Nose is like sitting on the coast of Maine. Salinity and pineapple sage on the palate. Nice mellow acidity. This could age even a bit longer. — 7 years ago
