Blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot, deep dark ruby red, aged for 21 months in French oak (75% new), aromas of ripe fruit, sweet spices and herbs. The palate shows blackberry, juicy black cherries and currants, big, full tannins, complex and well balanced. Complex with notes of leather, tobacco, cacao, espresso and earthy character on a long finish. Very Nice. — 7 months ago

Revisiting this one. We are picking up apricot and some slate-like minerals on the nose. Great tastes of peaches, apricot and red apple with a fantastic mouthfeel. Pairing very well with my blackened snapper and Lisa's Chicken Spinach salad. Very nice wine. — 9 years ago

I’m not a fan of red wines, but this one was fabulous. It was given to me as a gift, and I had no hangover the next day, and it was very smooth. — 2 years ago
No bubbles but solid. Not dry — 7 years ago
Beautiful light golden in color. Light aroma of mineral and flavors of citrus, lemon and apple. Crisp and easy to drink. Would pair well with salads and grilled fish. — 8 years ago
Mahogany color with molasses, caramel, espresso, bittersweet chocolate and subtle baking spice aromas. On the palate it's full bodied, viscous, and very persistent with a supple mouth feel that's beautifully balanced with a penetrating acidity that keep it from being cloying and persistent with very good acidity that keeps it from being cloying and provides balance. It shows very sweet flavors of molasses, honey-dipped figs, dates, caramel, and baking spice nuanced citrus note with a kiss of oxidation that adds to its allure and complexity. Not all bad... In fact pretty stinking good — 9 years ago
I got this on a whim and a college budget for Valentine's Day. Both my partner and I thought it was not too bad for $7-- I liked the notes of citrus balanced by the dryness. If I were making mimosas I would definitely go for this. — 10 years ago

Bright garnet color with a hint of brick. Tar and ripe fruit on the nose. A bit of alcohol may be due to warm serving temperatures. A very affordable and approachable Barolo. Enjoyed with herbed roast chicken and root vegetables. Buy and drink soon. — 6 months ago
