Dark ruby red to purple. High alc, high tannin, med acid. Typical cab nose and flavor. Strong cassis, blackberry. Some dark chocolate and licorice. Would definitely be better with aging to allow the tannins to soften and balance out. Right now the alc and tannin overpower the rest of the wine. The label says optimum 2025 and I could believe it. — 13 years ago
Well priced for 12 yr, smooth, medium oak, not peaty, given as a wedding gift. Goes great with nuptials. — 11 years ago
Incredibly smooth. Much more peety than smoky, but could still taste the oak. Pleasant. $NA / 91pts Youngs Market — 12 years ago
