Lots of forward fruit, red currant and blackberry. Subtle mid palate. Just a nip of tannins on the finish. Overall smooth and easy drinking. — 5 years ago

Absolute delight. Deep berries and currants. Very fruity yet balanced with earthy minerals and light tannins. Great food wine with white meats and medium intensity flavours. Couldn't stop drinking this! — 9 years ago

A smoky blend of crushed raspberries, sage, cola and crushed stones creates a seductive bouquet as the 2019 Pinot Noir La Source comes to life in the glass. This is soft yet lifted in feel, with tart red and blue fruits that swirl throughout as violet inner florals resonate toward the close. The 2019 finishes perfumed and long with an air of lavender and a tart blackberry twang that lingers over a bed of well-rounded tannins. This is the first vintage in which Sashi Moorman was entirely happy with the structural balance achieved in the Pinot Noir La Source. I must admit, it's a compelling wine. Still the best Oregon white I've ever had. Rocking acid, nice nose, great finish. White Burgundy Doppelgänger, but at a fraction of the cost. — 10 years ago

Decant this bottle for about an hour or two ….and Bachman-Turner Overdrive is showing up!! Baby, You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet. It just suddenly erupts with vibrant spicy red fruit, loaded with shrapnel of sharp, penetrating tannins that blow you to a finish and sticks you with a perfect landing. Wow, what an experience 🥰 — 2 years ago
Very nice! Best Can from Washington state I’ve tasted. Smooth heavy mouthfeel but bold fruit taste. Chocolate and red berry tones. — 2 years ago

A pre-dinner bottle while we do meal prep tonight.
Prior notes still apply:
Nose has lime zest, lime juice, green hay, wet granite/limestone pebbles, oxidized green apple peel, polyethylene tubing and tangerine peel.
Palate has Key lime flesh, cold tangerine slice, apricot skin, wet-pulverized limestone, lemongrass, tangerine zest, (minor) dried apricot and light honey on the medium finish, medium acid, great balance. — 4 years ago
Pre-Release.
Deep and dark ruby red. Lovely and thick nose with dark cocoa, lots of bright red cherries, cinnamon and more baking spices. Heavy tannins (8/10) and drying. Lots of red berries, especially cherries on the palate. Some twigs and earthiness too. Long and lingering finish that needs some time. Little bit of heat in the finish. Drink till 2030. — 8 years ago

The longevity this wine is capable of is shocking. The color hardly looks half its age, with a blooming nose that screams a much younger, softened cab of yesteryear. After half an hour open there’s nose of blueberry and butterscotch, vanilla and spicy peppery notes still persist! Over time a mustiness emerged, along with notes of wet wood, maybe even a little mustard! There’s even still a zippy, lingering acidity on the palate that focuses towards the tip of the tongue, either flavors of ripe strawberry, blueberry, plum and some meaty savory subtle notes, but primarily jammy fruit, with a palate that develops some woody cedar and forest floor notes and as it becomes further oxygenated. This is so impressive! — 7 months ago
