What is this? A Gevrey-Chambertin in Phalz, crazy? Dark cherries, light stemmy notes on nose and palate, spicy minerals, wow! Needs at least a few hours of decanting and it's totally alive, very clean finish, great acidity. I should have bought more... — 7 years ago

Lots of forward fruit, red currant and blackberry. Subtle mid palate. Just a nip of tannins on the finish. Overall smooth and easy drinking. — 5 years ago
Like biting my into a perfectly ripe white peach. There is a sense of sweetness, but this is bone dry with perfect acid balance. Moderate complexity, otherwise my rating would be even higher — 8 years ago
Still full of alcohol and has a hint of currents. Tanino have smoothed out. — 10 years ago

Who says Pinot from the US doesn't age? This Oregon site has proven a winner for many wineries, and I'm just glad I have several more bottles to see where this one goes in the future. — 13 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Sette Ponti or "seven bridges," refers to 7 bridges crossing the Arno River on the road from Arezzo to Florence. Blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cab Sauv & 10% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in new French oak. Very dark Ruby with pronounced aromas of dark fruits, cigar box & earthy notes, touch of floral citrus. Flavors of black cherry & blackberry with tobacco & spice. Fine tight tannins, long finish ending with cacao, tobacco & mineral spice as the finish builds. Decant now! Will continue to age! — 4 years ago
