The aromas and taste have evolved. Delicious old fruity aromas and flavors. Tannins are still gripping so it hasn't fully developed. Black fruit. A little old wood funk and brett. Slightly warm on the finish. Amazing overall. 14% abv — 9 years ago

IGT from Tuscany, Arezzo province, 2009, 13%. Very balsamic, mint, sage, rosemary and other spices. I loved it! 84/100 — 12 years ago
Molto buono e molto mercato. (Sette dollari a Empire Wine) sembra che e venduto a Target all’presso circo. E picante come i veni da Rhone ma dopo rorbido abbastanza. Non mi piace milto Spagnolo ma questo sarebbe consigliato. — 8 years ago

Elena Pozzolini, the winemaker, explained that Scipio was the General that defeated Hannibal. This wine, clearly defeated all other wines tonight. Floral notes on the nose. Black fruit with a leathery texture and a long elegant finish violets and licorice. — 10 years ago
From the producer "Dominico Negro" who has never been imported into the US. These wines were imported by "The Piedmont Guy" out of Chicago. Named "Sette Anni" due to being a 2007 Roero Arneis that has been bottle aged 7 years before release. Bright gold in color. On the nose it displays loads of tropical fruits like guava, mango, pineapple and honey. Medium to full bodied with an oily texture...which is countered by pretty bright acidity. Flavors are a bit more austere than aromatics. Honey and mild pineapple with lemon peel on the finish. A very cool wine indeed. — 11 years ago

Tre Sette 2011 - so good. Drinkable, not too spicy or thin for a Pinot. Would buy again :) — 8 years ago

Vinebox 12 Nights of Wine Night #2
Easy, light red. Dark berries, light earthiness. I would sip on this at a party or pre-dinner. Vinebox recommends refrigerating it briefly. — 7 years ago
