Great wine but I did expect even more. Decanted for 3 hours. Still a little tight. Cherry and plum. Earthy (chalk/slate). Some violets. Just a hint of something more herbaceous like tobacco. Finishes shorter than it should. Tannins medium. — 4 months ago

Time! Must give this wine time! It is so tight straight from the bottle that judging it then is unfair. After hours it opens into a beautiful Sangiovese: cherry, tobacco, and violets. — 4 months ago
