This is fun! Dried Grenache from California makes a lighter, more food friendly wine than it’s dried grape counterparts. Nice acidity, medium concentration, beautiful petal flavors. — 5 years ago
A different expression of Malbec for sure. Light and juicy with just a brush of tannin. Blackberry and dark raspberry. Crunchy acidity. — 7 years ago
Thirst quenching and wonderfully refreshing. Rocking minerality and precise acidity. — 8 years ago
Frenchie wine bar. Lighter. Long finish. Vanilla and long finish. — 8 years ago
Dusty, tannic nose with a bit of leather and shoe polish, not much fruit. French oak along with its characteristic pop of vanilla is dominant. More cherry syrup on the palate than expected with tongue-stripping and grippy tannins and more new French oak. Intense. Would settle down and become less oak-dominant with time. — 8 years ago
To die for! — 9 years ago

Dry, ping, bubbly, special. Great value — 6 years ago
Cranberry and dark cherry. Floral aromatics. More concentrated than their savigny bottling, but not what I would consider a complex wine — 6 years ago
The best Malbec I have had. Elegant earthy and filled with leather and intense but mellow tannins, this wine is extraordinary. The palette starts soft, and finishes with a powerful bang. A truly great wine. Should be consumed with steak. — 7 years ago
Great value for monies. Flinty flinty with tropical fruit notes. — 8 years ago

Night 2 notes: Just a killer Chablis. The purity and crystalline nose has citrus drizzled barely ripe peach, unbelievably sweet limestone/chalky minerality, a wee bit of damp earth. Intensely flavored yet almost weightless. Pure, very nicely integrate acidity. Great balance and nice persistence. — 5 years ago
A very nice wine, especially after decanting for 3-4 hours. — 6 years ago
Smooth but dry and and peppery with an oily and somewhat fruity backbone — 7 years ago
Outstanding Prosecco! Nice peach, melon and floral notes. Lovely effervescence. Creamy texture. Beautiful summertime sipper, and it is a great base for a wonderful Mamosa! — 8 years ago
Lemon curd, quince, sea spray. Perfect subtlety with poached cod dish while still providing complex flavors. — 8 years ago
2007 Domaine de La Selve 'Serre de Berty' Coteaux de L'Ardéche #Rhone #France. Beautiful #Syrah and #Merlot based #wine. Intense dark fruit and leather aromas. Plum, fig and barnyard interspersed with mineral, cedar, clove and sweet vanilla. Firm but soft. Craving some game meat right now! #sommelier #rhone #earthy #restaurant — 8 years ago
