Night 2 notes: Just a killer Chablis. The purity and crystalline nose has citrus drizzled barely ripe peach, unbelievably sweet limestone/chalky minerality, a wee bit of damp earth. Intensely flavored yet almost weightless. Pure, very nicely integrate acidity. Great balance and nice persistence. — 7 years ago
Smooth but dry and and peppery with an oily and somewhat fruity backbone — 8 years ago
The best Malbec I have had. Elegant earthy and filled with leather and intense but mellow tannins, this wine is extraordinary. The palette starts soft, and finishes with a powerful bang. A truly great wine. Should be consumed with steak. — 9 years ago
Outstanding Prosecco! Nice peach, melon and floral notes. Lovely effervescence. Creamy texture. Beautiful summertime sipper, and it is a great base for a wonderful Mamosa! — 9 years ago
Lemon curd, quince, sea spray. Perfect subtlety with poached cod dish while still providing complex flavors. — 10 years ago

A little tannic, a lot French. Light and pleasant — 11 years ago
A delicious wine from Ardeche from organic farming, a blend of 60% Syrah 30% Merlot 10% Grenache Cinsault - indigenous yeasts, not fined, not filtered, 12 to 18 months in barrels - a great wine with a bright future 🍷👏😃 Needs time at opening to loose its alcohol touch! — 11 years ago
Textbook. Excellent value. — 7 years ago
This is fun! Dried Grenache from California makes a lighter, more food friendly wine than it’s dried grape counterparts. Nice acidity, medium concentration, beautiful petal flavors. — 7 years ago
A very nice wine, especially after decanting for 3-4 hours. — 8 years ago
Super funky smell to start. Opens up with a smooth leather finish — 8 years ago
Crisp, citrusy — 9 years ago
A pinot noir with structure and depth. Nice spice and hint of tobacco. Dark fruits on the palate, medium to high acidity and slightly bitter undertone. Mineral and clean finish. For a price under 40, this 1er is of great value — 9 years ago
Dusty, tannic nose with a bit of leather and shoe polish, not much fruit. French oak along with its characteristic pop of vanilla is dominant. More cherry syrup on the palate than expected with tongue-stripping and grippy tannins and more new French oak. Intense. Would settle down and become less oak-dominant with time. — 10 years ago
To die for! — 11 years ago
Tart and spicy, overall a good wine — 11 years ago
Very big and interesting on the nose, sometimes fruity, sometimes bloody and meaty. Elegant in the mouth with some initial dark fruit until the savoury elements take over for a long finish. — 7 years ago
Dry, ping, bubbly, special. Great value — 8 years ago
Cranberry and dark cherry. Floral aromatics. More concentrated than their savigny bottling, but not what I would consider a complex wine — 8 years ago
A nose full of volatiles that dissipates after a few minutes in the glass. Tart, sour fruits - cherry, citrus - and a burst of pleasant acidity. — 9 years ago
Thirst quenching and wonderfully refreshing. Rocking minerality and precise acidity. — 9 years ago
Great value for monies. Flinty flinty with tropical fruit notes. — 10 years ago
