Some of the happiness may indeed be because I've been a little to Californian lately. Occupational hazard. This has got pretty violet aromas mixed with herbal notes of pine and faint rosemary. Palate reflects aromas, adding dried cranberries, leather and tobacco notes. Good tannic grip. — 12 years ago

A nice slightly acidic Italian red. Not dry and has a touch of acidity. Great wine to serve over dinner, but more so to guests who may not be red lovers. Crowd pleaser. — 10 years ago
It seemed like the perfect moment to have this wine. It already started to show some signs that it was going downhill (teriyaki and soy sensations) one year later and I think it wouldn't be nearly as good.
