This is Sequoia Groves entry level Napa Cab, but it punches well above its price point. At 5 years old it was a Lucious, fruit forward cab that paired well with a variety of food, especially red meat. Nice nose, It Also enhances the flavor of chocolate. Very approachable wine. I love wine club months. Love at first taste. Very alive on the pallet, almost tingly. Cab sav essence is strong with dense dark fruit. Smokey, Spicy, elegant and complex. I will get more — 5 years ago
