Really like this Beullton IPA — 5 years ago
Can’t believe it’s been almost 20 years since I bought these. Obviously lighter than it was, but has come back from a spell where they weren’t more than vinegar. Just happy it’s drinkable, and curious what the current vintages are like — 6 years ago

NYS Pinot got real nice — 5 years ago
This vintage is classic Pinot Noir, pretty light red color, cherry and strawberry fruit and just a touch earthy. Had to have it on National Pinot Noir Day! — 6 years ago
Almost clear in color with the slightest golden hue. Medium nose with subtle hints of grapefruit and vodka. Very thick on the palate, but a classic Dry Riesling throughout. Rather short finish, but very nice. — 7 years ago
Buttery, slightly acidic and a tarty dryer finish. Citrusy lime and kiwi. Clean and crisp, almost sour — 7 years ago
When you hike in the Finger Lakes, you can easily think you're in Burgundy or Alsace. The topography is very close and the climate is just a little more continental. So the choice of grape varieties follows naturally. Pear, apple, and a little pineapple fruit come across in this wine. It has some stony and steely minerality, but less than typical for this region. There's a lot of vanilla and butter, with smoke and oak. These latter elements are too strong in my opinion. And the acidity is a little too weak. If that and the fruit were stronger this would be on par with Chablis. So it's a little off balance. But I enjoyed it very much with a salmon salad. — 8 years ago

Exceptional year in upstate New York! Wagner only makes their Meritage blend from the best of the best years! A cooler climate red blend with great balance between darker fruit flavors, tannins and oak. — 10 years ago
