We got busy last night. Quaffed some great wines. @Greg Ballington and India brought some great SA examples. Just a superb evening with good food and lots of laughter.

I'm not one for steel casks but you can't even tell with this Chardonnay! That bite picks up the citrus fruits but has a long smooth finish. It's creamy and a little dreamy :) — 8 years ago
Picked up one of these. Pepper, tobacco, cocoa, but smooth. — 9 years ago
A perfect accompaniment for calamari steak, cannelloni, and veal piccata. La Lanterna is one of our favorite places when we’re in San Mateo. One of the nicest Sauvignon Blanc I’ve ever had. — 7 years ago
Fresh tasty, some Vive. — 8 years ago

As a Veteran, a nice gift from my Sister in law and her beau. Easy drinking Cabernet with strong dark fruit and some pepper. I thought it was a little sweet on 1st sip but it settled. Now to try and find some more as a conversation piece. I want to get to Normandy and visit...and drink wine! — 5 years ago
